FROM THE TWIN CITIES:

Take Interstate 35 north to Cloquet (approx. 2 hours). Exit on Hwy 33 toward the Range Cities. Stay on Hwy 33 until it merges with Hwy 53N. Follow Hwy. 53N until you reach Eveleth (approx. 60 miles). In Eveleth, take the Hwy 37E exit into Gilbert, follow Main Street in Gilbert. Turn right at the intersection of Hwy 135. Follow 135E for approx. 9 miles to Biwabik. Continue straight on Main Street through downtown Biwabik. Approximately 1 ½ miles past Biwabik turn left on County Road 138 into the Giants Ridge entrance. Follow CR 138 for 1 mile and turn right onto the dirt road just past the Quarry Club House. Follow this road for approximately 3/4 mile to the new paved roadway on the left leading into Voyageurs Retreat.

FROM VIRGINIA:

Take Hwy 53 south, exit at Hwy 135 toward Gilbert/Biwabik. Follow this for approximately 10 miles to Biwabik. Continue straight on Main Street through downtown Biwabik. Approximately 1 ½ miles past Biwabik turn left on County Road 138 into the Giants Ridge entrance. Follow CR 138 for 1 mile and turn right onto the dirt road just past the Quarry Club House. Follow this road for approximately 3/4 mile to the new paved roadway on the left leading into Voyageurs Retreat.

FROM DULUTH:

Take Hwy 194 west, this will turn into Hwy 53N. Follow Hwy 53N until you reach Eveleth (approx. 48 miles). In Eveleth, take the Hwy 37E exit into Gilbert, follow Main Street in Gilbert. Turn right at the intersection of Hwy 135. Follow 135E for approx. 9 miles to Biwabik. Continue straight on Main Street through downtown Biwabik. Approximately 1 ½ miles past Biwabik turn left on County Road 138 into the Giants Ridge entrance. Follow CR 138 for 1 mile and turn right onto the dirt road just past the Quarry Club House. Follow this road for approximately 3/4 mile to the new paved roadway on the left leading into Voyageurs Retreat.

FROM WINNIPEG, MANITOBA CANADA:

Head east on Trans Canada Hwy 1. Go southeast on Highway 12 to the US border. Go South on MN-313 to MN-11. Take the MN-11 East exit to International Falls. Go Southeast on US-53 to MN-37/MN-135. Go East on MN-37/MN-135. (near Virginia). Follow Hwy 135E through Gilbert. Go for approx. 9 miles to Biwabik. Continue straight on Main Street through downtown Biwabik. Approximately 1 ½ miles past Biwabik turn left on County Road 138 into the Giants Ridge entrance. Follow CR 138 for 1 mile and turn right onto the dirt road just past the Quarry Club House. Follow this road for approximately 3/4 mile to the new paved roadway on the left leading into Voyageurs Retreat.
